This cracking group apparently had a little war with Teesside Cracking Service (see Open Letter for more info), due to both groups being from the same county (I know because I was born and live there :)) These days Cleveland is no longer classed as a county there, after the boroughs became unitary authorities and basically gave the land to North Yorkshire and Country Durham (that's why the airport was renamed to Durham Tees Valley)... if you never considered that place as Cleveland, then are you not a true smoggy. ;)
Anyway... TCS may have been more noticed in the whole cracking scene of the 80s, but CCS had some decent crackers too, like Ian/Fusion for example.
Just my 2 pennies as I was brought up on their releases and find this group to be highly underrated. |
