Although the FRF ported dozens of programs from other computer systems to the C64 & C128 and created several original game titles, they are perhaps best remembered for their "FRF Assortment Disks". These came in a handful of categories (games, utilities, ports, copiers, etc.) and had two major revisions. The first version (with its widely hated green-on-green color scheme) was fairly simple, but often made use of unused directory blocks to store extra data. The second version (which changed to a less disliked gray-on-gray color scheme) was far more sophisticated, featuring a built-in fastloader, boot block handling with automatic (if appropriate) C128 -> C64 mode switching, and GEOS support.
