HISTORY OF FUEL

Before we tell you the Fuel story, it's important that you know the the story
of SBC. SBC was founded by lars, he was the leader and the one and only swapper
in the group. At that time, SBC or 'Some Brandnew Crackers' had 4 members
(Stef, Dennis, Wolf and Lars.) we had a few contacts and swapped our latest
stuff. whenever we needed new stuff, we paid Alf of Role a visit and copied
hundreds of disks. We were brandnew coders, but none of us could code. On that
point, we had a little problem. Dennis wanted to expand SBC worldwide and tried
to start cracking games. We released two cracks under the SBC-label (Ra and
Street Rod).

School started to cause a lot of problems, and took all our spare-time away.
Stef started swapping and had about 10 contacts, but he stopped because he
wanted to use his time for studying and not for loosing time with his computer.
Wolf drew graphics, but since we never used his logo's he also stopped
producing anything.

Then Lars stopped swapping and it was rather clear that SBC was going to have
an accident.

The active members were now: Lars, Dennis, and the new SBC-member Kirk. Kirk
(Dennis' brother) made pictures with Amica Paint, and filled more than 20 disks
with cool graphics !

One day, Dennis wanted to start swapping so, the rest of the world could see
his mighty cracks and started his own group with Kirk. They called themselves
'The Fuel Brothers' (based on a jerrycan Lars once drew.) Dennis was in the
same class with Alf of Role and Trott. He learned a bit of code with the help
of Trott and Alf but couldn't really do more than put- ting hires pictures on
the screen, but that was no problem since three weeks later Kirk and Dennis got
so lonely that they asked if Lars wasn't interested in joining 'The Fuel
Brothers'. We skipped The Brothers, and renamed our group 'fuel'. That made it
easier for the logo's.

Lars started swapping again and Dennis started cracking with his good old power
cartridge ! (yak !) Dennis liked the Rock'n Role mag, and sacrificed himself to
help edit the mag. it was at Alf's place that he met Commander of Role, and we
got a lot of originals from Role. Stef renamed himself 'R2D2' and left fuel and
the scene forever ("they didn't make good games anymore !") he passed his
contacts to Dennis, and Lars spread the Fuel-cracks all over the world. Those
were the golden days for Fuel. Round that time Dennis got in contact with Vinzz
of Wow and got even more originals, but Lars had a very lazy period and stopped
swapping, and put more time in his graphics.

Then Dennis took over his contacts and became the one and only swapper in Fuel.

We got more and more friends in the scene, and Dennis and Lars went to buy an
Action Replay Cartridge in ... yeah where was it ? (we went by train, and it
took us more than 4 hours.)

The Fuel-members were now : Lars (graphics, he stopped swapping again), Kirk
(graphics),and Dennis (code and crack) and Lisa (mascotte+directory artist).
