You need two good eyes for this; I only have one so I'll never see the 3D effect.

I tried, and after shifting parallax a bit, it works gloriously!

judging by the screenshots, that wouldnt work. The Image is apparently NOT repeated after half of the screen.

Has anyone tried this on a 3DTV? These TVs should be able to take the left + right side of whatever's on and make it into a 3D image. I'd love to know whether that works! (I don't have a 3DTV)

gpz is right. There was a red/green 3D part in some Profi-Corner of 64er.

Mace: It's all new, since we never made BluREU in 3D.. The only thing that is still "old" is the 3D models and anim for the Commodore Logo and the Cube with the mushrooms - and the Farbrausch stuff. Everything else is either new (spikey model, end-scene, Textscreens, Numb Res scenes) or has been completely re-done (Metaballs, Crest Walker, Introscreen, Carrion's Afro head) for the 3D version! ;-)

I think it's fairly obvious we didn't just take the old BluREU images and ran a resizing/cropping batch job on them...

Yes.
In fact, this is the first time ever that I manage to see the 3D effect in something 2D.
Cool stuff, although I agree that new images would have made it even beter.

Did anyone manage to see three images at the first screen?

Gpz: Not that I know of. All I can remember from 64er is some "Magic Eye" bw static images with exactly one level of depth...

mrsid: Believe me, I tried... <:-) Very hard!... But it was not to be... So I made this, which is btw. only the 3D models from BluREU, all scenes and anims were re-done for 3D... and some extra scenes added. Also it *is* the first 3D demo for c64, I dare say that's something "new"... So I'm still somewhat proud of it, even though it was only a makeshift project to have at least something for X! <:-)

I'm absolutely sure this is a C64 Demo and not C64 Misc :-)
very innovative usage of the "real-life 3D effect" that often happens when one is very drunk and stoned! =D

Ah thanks! How is it possible to make something so cool on a C64 even if it is with a REU?! (Yeah I'm no coder!)

yogi: Like BluREU, Wired and all NUVIEs: Load REU file in 1541 Ultimate or Chameleon (or attach it in VICE), then run the PRG....
