sorry, just to make it clear: i didnt mean that he ripped the parts of a song on purpose. but that he had this parts of a song in his mind when composing. it often happens. influence i would like to call it =) so again: he did not rip it. but had some parts of a melody in his mind. subconscious.

btw. i like this song =) gave it a "10"

The chords and melody are quite similar to "Robocop 3" by Jeroen Tel. I think this tune stands on its own though, and I think people should tread very carefully with accusations of ripping unless they're super clean themselves.

LOL@Stainless. It sure was raining c64 clichés in this tune and the hype is really not all that. Regardless, the man was elected first place, and I congratulate him.

A fantastic tune and a very long composition, too (great value!). Lovely warm sounds and a great vibe. Cheers!

I hate to rain on the parade (excuse the pun).
But, while technically well executed, it's a bit dull in the long run.

Maybe Think Twice III by Red? At least it reminded me of that one. But anyway, I like it, good job Adam! :)

Hmmm. the chords remind of a well know sid, which i cant remember now. thats okay. but even parts of the melody seems ripped to me.

Very nice composition with beautiful intro, good chords and smart lead.Although, is it best tune in 2012 ???
It's a matter of taste, but there are tons of good tunes composed this year.
I can see why this one may be so much appreciated. There is so much oldschool vibes in it. It's like moving back in time (early 90's) and I bet, we all love this feeling :)

Nicely done Adam. Congrats for a first place!

I'm sorry, but it really will have to be much better than this to be a 10. We don't need shit from the late 80's, start of 90's done all over again. We need raw tunes.

Very nice melodic tune. But I wouldn't hype it as 10 yet, I think THE ONE by Adam is yet to come. One of the best Sid-Wizard tunes so far! Way to go Adam!

Truth be told, when you some of you had been around back in the day, you would have heard this type of song EXACTLY sounding like the current one before. Many times. And I am not discounting this effort, that's why I gave it a 7 for nostalgia. But is it new? No. Has it been done before? Oh yeah. Countless times, by many artists.

Wow, wow, wow! Congratulations for this great tune. It's really one of the best tunes I've heard in 2012. ;) simply stunning!
My favourite parts: the echoed intro theme with it's bass sound, and the solo-lead with its slides and the underlying chords...

Really, really awesome, Adam! \o/ (EDIT) It makes me remember one of the best tunes from the Atari ST scene actually. Gotta check it out. (/EDIT)

Not sure what to say, this hits all the right notes for me. Mostly it is the melody/lead portion, it's just so .. good and very "C64'ish". But the tune works as a whole, as a composition and that is what makes it great.

Simple, straightforward, pure and honest composition. +1 point for making this a solid 7 minutes. If it was better time of the day, and if I had been more relaxed,it would probably give me multiple eargasms. ;-) From now on I'm recognizing a new musician name in the scene.

The intro instantly reminded me of Last Ninja, which i consider to be a good thing. It gave me goosebumps, even now, when listening to it the 5th time. The first melody part is very enjoyable, but i think the real strength of this track lies in the melody before the end (starting at 3:43). This time its just going everywhere i want it to go. Its like you anticipated how i would like the melody to continue and did exactly that. Its amazing. Gave me the chills. So beautiful, you really earned my highly subjective 10. :)
