If I were voting on purely the logo design, I'd be giving this a high mark. This logo is one of the few logos that have given a scene group a consistent "brand" image (similar to the way the classic Fairlight intro did). I can't really vote on an established logo like that in a competition such as this though, so if we're not voting on the displayer, I personally think this shouldn't be here.

This entry lacks creativity from the "pixel art" side (it's even on Wikipedia as official ANSI logo of the group: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fairlight_%28group%29). Nevertheless it was never used this way on C64 AFAIK so I will let it go.

Well, if you ask to do so... then this entry wouldn't be valid as the logo is not original. This shape has been used already (you don't need a n00b like me to point it out, of course), regardless its coolness :)

Voters please concentrate on the "pixel art" aspect of this release, not on the code needed to display it. Thanks.

I am amazed that we have a down voter on every entry in this compo. It sure must have been from a lamer though... This logo is 10/10 for me! Space!

yeah, but couldnt recognize other than inverse spaces. now at a 2nd look I see there may be some half chars. Now do this at full res, and you'll have my respect :P :)

i think the point is to make it exactly like it is, using exactly that one char (you did press space did you?) =) <3

very cool approach! would imho have been even cooler if you had used a 'real' new logo.

nice :)
would have looked even better with another backgroundcolor and the logo having a shadow. that wouldnt take many more chars (1?)
