Mace: when you have "play" button pressed all the time, you will not see the error message. The program will start to search next file.
This tool is good, but only if you are 100% sure that you have good, clean tape :) For copying old dirty tapes it will not work when you need to often clean the head and roller. | User Comment Submitted by Mace on 23 May 2007
1581 is nice, but it's a bitch to use with a tape, as the SRQ lines are in conflict.
Cut the SRQ line and you'll be fine. | User Comment Submitted by hollowman on 23 May 2007
or you could just use a 1581 | User Comment Submitted by Mace on 23 May 2007
Yesterday I suddenly got a nice idea to update this program: a feature to support 4 drives (8..11) at once, so I can insert 4 empty floppies and sit back for a while... | User Comment Submitted by Mace on 17 May 2007
It DOES inform about an error.
There appears the text 'err' in red, behind the filename. | User Comment Submitted by V-12 on 1 February 2006
Cool one! But some features are missing. For example when the file is loaded with the error, the tool should inform about it because sometimes tape is dirty and head need to be cleaned. |
