Even the late Arman's (R.I.P.) Turrican can hardly compete with this one, this one is another dimension

Completely missed this before, but thank you Veto for sharing it on fb recently ;)
This is one amazingly awesome conversion... You're the man Jason! | User Comment Submitted by Hawk on 3 February 2016
Awesome!! No More!! *Thumbs Up* | User Comment Submitted by Sidman on 21 October 2015
Stunning 64 version of a classic Amiga track... And I know how fast you made this as well, for that alone is a BIG WOW... Hehe... Excellent work | User Comment Submitted by LMan on 12 October 2015
Both public and hidden votes average to 9.7, I think it's in order. | User Comment Submitted by GH on 12 October 2015
I'm not missing the extra mod track at all...great stuff!
23 people voted 10/10 Who are all those other 13 people ;D
Anonymous downvotes I get but I find this odd.. | User Comment Submitted by LMan on 12 October 2015 User Comment Submitted by Thunder.Bird on 10 October 2015
Who needs an Amiga anyway? >;-] | User Comment Submitted by Flex on 9 October 2015
Very good stuff! ... now let's just wait when the Multistyle / Oxyron guys ask you to join.. :-D | User Comment Submitted by Jason Page on 9 October 2015
Spider-j - haha. Good point!
Soren - I tried a number of different leads. Some were too fussy. Others too bland. I get your point though.
Top-Cat -Thanks for the 11/10 vote... Makes up for the 8 ;-) (some people are *very* hard to please...hehe..)
Seriously, really glad that most people like this one anyway. Good to be back. | User Comment Submitted by spider-j on 9 October 2015
Quote:if there's an option for "add filter distortion"
can't find that option on my C64 =P
anyway: this version is ace! :-) | User Comment Submitted by aNdy on 9 October 2015 User Comment Submitted by Mr. Mouse on 9 October 2015
Slick. Not raw as I like them, but great regardless. Thumbs up! | User Comment Submitted by TheRyk on 9 October 2015
Was never a Turrican fan on neither system.
But this C64 tune rocks! | User Comment Submitted by Doc Strange on 8 October 2015
Great conversion, almost better than the original. | User Comment Submitted by GeoAnas on 8 October 2015 User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 8 October 2015
Lack of voices can be often heard but in general splendid conversion ;] | User Comment Submitted by Shinobi on 8 October 2015
Fantastic conversion, enjoying it very much :) | User Comment Submitted by cadaver on 8 October 2015
The sections with dual lead + bass + drums + the higher backing melody are extremely clever, sounds like 4 channels at least :) | User Comment Submitted by Yodelking on 8 October 2015
Truely amazing. Well done! Looking forward to upcoming releases from you. | User Comment Submitted by Soren on 8 October 2015
Very nice, BUT the vibrato that first kicks in around 0:40 is kinda ugly to me, probably it's too fast. :) | User Comment Submitted by Tom-Cat on 8 October 2015 User Comment Submitted by Nith on 8 October 2015
Fantastic work! Now please go ahead and do the same for the Turrican 2 title track :) | User Comment Submitted by algorithm on 7 October 2015
Very nice remake and I love the chords. Amiga version utilised 7 channels with digitized audio and this SID masterpiece goes to show what can be done in a limited amount of channels | User Comment Submitted by ne7 on 7 October 2015 User Comment Submitted by Joe on 7 October 2015
Great! I guess with all those multispeed drums and sounds,
one might just hope the guys drawing conclusions on other techs (like samples),
might go for voices instead, syllables or song?
No need to do something SID seem to be handling nice already.. :D | User Comment Submitted by Motion on 7 October 2015
I guessed right, Jason! Amazing work, you're on fire! | User Comment Submitted by Dr.j on 7 October 2015
great work you are hot jason !! | User Comment Submitted by Jason Page on 7 October 2015
Thanks, all! Make sure your player is 8580 R5. And if there's an option for "add filter distortion" in your sidplay preferences, disable it.... By doing that, the Sid /prg sounded exactly the same as the SoundCloud version to me. | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 7 October 2015
better than original tfmx :D | User Comment Submitted by TheRyk on 7 October 2015 User Comment Submitted by finchy on 7 October 2015
Yay! C64 roxx! Who needs the Amiga anyways? ;-P | User Comment Submitted by Yogibear on 7 October 2015 User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 7 October 2015

Works very well, and it's an awesome conversion! | User Comment Submitted by Jason Page on 7 October 2015
