Back in 1984 my classmates began calling me Pæd as a nickname at school. The Norwegian pronunciation of this is exactly the same as the English pronunciation of Pad. After using Zarky Baby as my handle on the C64 for years I felt in 1992 that there was the need for a change. Since the Pad name had stuck IRL I figured I'd might as well use it on the C64 too, but I never got around to release anything under this handle. But after picking up my old gear at my parents place in 2015 I found that I had a lot of unfinished parts with the handle Pad.
