So many nice ideas in there! If it disappoints you that after "only" four minutes a tune's already over, there's something seriously right with it. Love the mixing too, great work with instrument dynamics. | User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 23 December 2015
I've missed a gem, again! Splendid! Love cybernoidesque vibes on lead ;) Waiting for more goodies. | User Comment Submitted by Hermit on 3 December 2015
Nice & Smooth, I like this tune and the realtime SID-model switching... | User Comment Submitted by c0zmo on 29 November 2015
Sorry if the term "c0zPlayer" in my release is confusing, I didn't want to take credit for other people's work. I use Hermit's excellent SID-Wizard V1.7, and the code for the SID-detection was done by SounDemoN.
c0zPlayer is the frontend where I incorporated the diffing routine for switching SID-relevant songdata on the fly. It could use any other play-routine, but I'll stick to SID-Wizard, because it's a beast and I like to compose on the original hardware. :) | User Comment Submitted by TheRyk on 29 November 2015
Quote:"great job with your own player!"
He used SID Wizard. His player routine(!) might be a little misleading, though. | User Comment Submitted by MaD ][ on 29 November 2015
enjoyable tune, reminds good vibes from early 90's... can't explain... thumbs up! | User Comment Submitted by Board Rider on 28 November 2015
Very nice tune... thanks! | User Comment Submitted by DKT on 28 November 2015
love the tune.
great job with your own player! | User Comment Submitted by Hate Bush on 26 November 2015
welcome to the SID pit :) very nice tune. it becomes a little unfocused after ~3 minutes, but when it's on, it's really and spot on. straightforward, but in a sublime and effective way. eagerly waiting for more! | User Comment Submitted by Doc Strange on 26 November 2015 User Comment Submitted by c0zmo on 26 November 2015
Hi guys. Thanks for all the positive vibes. I'm totally baffled. :)
Just a few remarks. As iAN pointed out, this isn't really my first C64-release. I assumed my old crap burnt and buried, but you should never underestimate iANs eagerness. ;)
Transforming stands for the beginning of my "serious" SID-Tunes. There will hopefully be many more, so stay tuned. :)
As groepaz mentioned on forum64.de, the player is unusable on NTSC-machines. I will try to support both standards in my next release, stay tunes. :) | User Comment Submitted by SIDWAVE on 26 November 2015
just found out its still playing :)
looping since last comment,
so this is a good tune :) | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 26 November 2015
it doesn't matter if it's his own composition or a cover, he's the author of the sid tune =) | User Comment Submitted by ThunderBlade on 26 November 2015
@ian Tristar Intro was just a cover he did for me quickly on my C64, not his composition. It also was in 1989, I only never used it until 1991 | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 26 November 2015
Actually not his first SID tune, as he also composed Tristar Intro in 1991, but definately a welcome comeback to SID composing | User Comment Submitted by SIDWAVE on 26 November 2015
good classic sid, some reyn ouwehand intro and then some nice leads.. and just relax... melancholy nice | User Comment Submitted by Dr.j on 26 November 2015
