I know what you mean as groupmates told me the same when we watched it together. We agreed HTL looked smoother and "my" version looked more physically correct but a little crude.

In the end, I declared the raw bouncing resembles my character and skills and did not touch it anymore.

What Ian said. The original Hotline intro looks better in this aspect. Anyway, nice remake.
