After finally seeing this, suddenly, that scene in Bonzai's Unboxed makes perfect sense ;-)
Some really cool stuff in this one ... something tells me that Camelot have been stirred up for some action at X2020. Can't wait to see what's coming! | User Comment Submitted by TheRyk on 28 July 2017 User Comment Submitted by Mixer on 3 July 2017
@Glasnost, finally, a proper review! | User Comment Submitted by Linus on 3 July 2017
And so, while the banality of fashionable formulas wafts out of the Salons, elsewhere there is a splendid blossoming of works by these masters. And yet, all too soon, the engulfing tide of democracy will reach their refuges, and the sons of these artists will renounce the vain cares of an art already without clients. The day is coming when finally the democratic and egalitarian art of universal suffrage will dominate. | User Comment Submitted by VIC on 3 July 2017
I'm proud to be part of this pre-modern masterpiece. Thanks, Cruzer for allowing me to take the role of an 8-bit Piero Manzoni. Making poo-sprites was super satisfying, and gave me almost as much joy as I found in the "Skithus+Dusch" at Gubbdata ;) | User Comment Submitted by Glasnost on 3 July 2017
This body of work focuses on the moment in which antitheses collide. This work both formally and conceptually points to thresholds, spaces where both pain and pleasure are suggested but not explicitly manifested or differentiated. It seeks to compound imagery that references painful visceral experiences with forms that are tactilely appealing. Specifically, this investigation seeks to portray the body in moments where it is trapped between condemnation and exaltation, degeneration and regeneration, repulsion and seduction. Whether articulated in painting, sculpture, or video the work attempts to create composite bodies, bodies that defy physical boundaries of surface, and boundaries of interior and exterior. Inspired by the uncanny notions of body and boundary manifested in gothic and contemporary villains, It adjoins materials that further obscure the inherently complex task of delineating seduction and repulsion. Similarly, moved by the paradoxical treatment of the Catholic body, this work investigates the psychological boundaries of the body tied to temptation, sin, guilt, purification, and redemption. Together, these works depict how the mind and body function at times congruently and at times independently in states where agony, ecstasy, sexuality, and violence are concerned. | User Comment Submitted by Karmic on 3 July 2017
At least it's short, I guess. | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 3 July 2017 User Comment Submitted by Trap on 2 July 2017
