OK ?!? Thought with my monitor on top i would get most randomized d800 upper bits from that em stray fields. I'll write a small test prg to output those rnd bits to the screen, so i can see how my 128d performs. | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 2 January 2018
this uses the high nibbles at $D8xx to generate random numbers, looks like your c128D doesn't have noise in those high nibbles?
try changing
.C:083a A9 D8 LDA #$D8
with
.C:083a A9 D0 LDA #$D0
.C:083a A9 DC LDA #$DC
.C:083a A9 00 LDA #$00
to get different "random" bytes | User Comment Submitted by Monte Carlos on 2 January 2018
Maybe it's a C128D and/or 1541U issue. I can see the grey bars, only.
No patterns. Sorry. Any ideas? | User Comment Submitted by Joe on 30 December 2017 User Comment Submitted by ws on 30 December 2017
well, since i can look into the future a bit, be advised: if hasfewbytes && isfromwertstahl = true, then proceed with caution. | User Comment Submitted by Smasher on 30 December 2017
the only prg that looks the same at warp speed! excellent! | User Comment Submitted by TheRyk on 30 December 2017
lol @jb: my wife just asked me if the heating is alright cause of the noise xD | User Comment Submitted by jailbird on 30 December 2017
I am not sure what the hell this is, but the awful noise woke up my GF. Wertstahl, you now own me a peaceful saturday morning. | User Comment Submitted by ws on 30 December 2017
