it doesn't matter if it is 6581 or 8580 and my Goattracker is set to 6581 by default, I am not using filters or volume changes so it shouldn't make a difference - my question would be why does this bother people so much, especially given that I have openly stated before that I prefer 6581 because of the differences from chip to chip being far greater (I find that more interesting). You can always override it in a sid player and if you are playing on real hardware it still plays.
