Nice one! I had this book as a kid. Will the CYOFA engine be available anywhere? | User Comment Submitted by Neo-Rio on 19 October 2018
The screen scroll happens because the story choice options are pushing text off the top. Even a simple “press any key” where there’s a lot of text will mitigate that. | User Comment Submitted by Six on 19 October 2018
If you find anything like that, feel free to PM the steps to repeat the issue so I can patch the book file for the eventual collection release. | User Comment Submitted by Neo-Rio on 18 October 2018
There's a number of formatting errors unfortunately. One page runs off the screen before you can read the top of it. Another has newlines where they shouldn't be. There's one spelling error too. Nice idea though. I always wanted to computerize the Fighting Fantasy books. | User Comment Submitted by Six on 18 October 2018
It's a new engine for running gamebooks. The gamebook it's running in this release is a classic from the 1970s. | User Comment Submitted by Tomxx on 18 October 2018
Nice plot. The Water Moon with its huge waves seems to be similar to the one from The Passengers ;)
Does this game use any existing text adventure engine? |
