Thanks for the truly awesome comments on this. :) It's heart warming to say the least!

@PAL, you are absolutely right. Pixelling is like entering Zen mode. The best part is the optimising stage of my work. I usually pixel the whole picture and at this stage I am not too hard on myself with decisions. When the picture has completed this stage the next one begins and I think this is the part I like the most. Trying different colours, trying hard to avoid colour clashes and really optimise the placements of the pixels. Time just fly but its so rewarding! I would never dream of using any tools to help me pixelling because that will remove the Zen mode.

@Burglar: I think PAL refers to the voting. A 6-point-rating is kinda surprising for this lovely screen ...

I really do not understand why some are negative... this is a superior eddie iron maiden renderition of all of you in your setting and it is just so cool for me, I just stare at it and think someone created, crafted this on the c64 in this super way, that is just utterly cool to think about... Often I read comments that one used yesterday or so to make it but I know that to create a really great pixeled graphics that is not layers of dithers in a pipeline is absolutely very cool and should be appreciated very much. I think or I know there must be people holding some tools because I am all crazy and go like 1000 hours inn on a huge demo... I never could have done this image without using huga amount of hours on it... I think for me that is something I like very much to do because I can just make it as great as I can on the c64... and I am very proud of some things I have done on the c64... Sarge you are a true legend and you to release a cool so nice image of eddie in 2020 is just truly love.

really love this oldschool style high contrasts with black outlines, still looking (sort of) natural. I also thought it must be FLI :)

The Eddie ripping his heart out idea is not original. I changed quite a lot though. This picture was done almost two years ago as a FLI picture but was never released. Yesterday when browsing through my folder with pictures I rediscovered this one. I reworked it so now it's multicolour instead. I think I changed almost every pixel from my original version. :)

Would appreciate statement on the original artwork in the cases of pixeled representations. Or maybe that's hidden in the file?
