This was a nice surprise for all of us in Censor as the very naughty boys Mikael and The Sarge kept it a secret from us. Looking forward to the coop between The Sarge, Mikael and Facet! <3

When you have mad skills, you can do crazy things like this and produce something that isn't crazy at all.

I like it. Good idea to do this together. And clever way of putting it together. Specially love the horizontal dithering.. Are you guys into doing a picture with the three of us? ;D

fab pic! also nice background story, it seems to me it was painted by a single person, not two.

This was done in a bit special way. :)

Mikael and I decided to make a coop without knowing what the other was doing. We only had one rule. It should be about fish.
Mikael found a pattern to use as a guide to give us some kind of order and a reason to succeed. Then we divided the screen space into four smaller squares. We decided that The Sarge was going to do upper left and lower right and Mikael the other ones.

Then we started and did our work separately. When we were satisfied with our parts we sent it to each other and started to merge it together. To our surprise it worked out really well. It could really have become an incomprehensible mess that was going to be impossible to merge together. After merging it together we did some back and forth were we optimised it all and this is the result. A really interesting way to work and something completely different thing from what I am used to.

Here is a animated GIF of some of the work stages.

First ever coop by The Sarge and Mikael. We picked a pattern and work areas was decided. The Sarge was given upper left and down right, Mikael the others. The theme was fish and water and we agreed on from which side the light would come. Nothing more. Nobody saw what the other was doing until we were finished and showed each other. After that, the image was stitched and finalized together! A totally new way of working for both of us but it was really fun. More will probably come!

Very nice!

I kinda want to see more of the fish from the bottom left - it contrasts well with the blue.

Really nice work.
