Recracks are a part of the scene too. A lot of rather famous ppl and groups did them :=)

@Radd Maxx: yeah, I understand the complications. but this site is called CSDb, where S stands for "scene".
so it should not collect your neighbour's attempt he did when he was a teenager how he removed a legit intro from a legit crack and replaced with a textline "cracked by Radd Maxx' neighbour". Change CSDb to CUDb (User) and we are all apply and we upload *.*
Anyway comments here should be used to talk about the release, not else. So... this entry suxx and should be nuked (like all recracks) :)

Unfortunately, deleting the recracks would cause an endless cycle of Discover Crack > Verify Recrack > Delete > Discover same crack again later but it doesnt match so you think it's new > Verify Recrack > Delete > Ad Infinitum.

as I posted a few times in the past, IMHO all recracks should be nuked off CSDb.
or if for some weird reason you want to keep them do a separate area of shame for them, don't list them together with proper stuff.
recracking was lame in the 80s, in the 90s, in 2000s, in 2010s and still plain lame today. most likely it will still be lame next decades too.

and congrats. i couldn't even be on csdb for 24 hours before getting attacked and defamed, profiles vandalized immediately within hours by the same old clowns.

i just decided - farewell csdb. your mod hedning had your back. congrats. continue to distort, lie and post things to cover your back. the truth is you are jealous and intimidated otherwise you would not have cared so much and targeted me, a guy who just made pics, and two other cracks from original programs - not yours.

but guys not going anywhere. i'll be around for decades. i will make and partake in any release or type of release i want.

way to go. i had my reservations about joining csdb but i just wanted to share and post data for the db, new and old. that's it.

anyone can look through and see the actions of straight of jerks.

anyone who wants to make a real database that focuses on DATA not DRAMA, please let me know.

goodbye

you should be ashamed, pathetic. i just did the pic. as soon as i joined, you and your fellow vidiots who seriously need to get a life and off by back, jump all over my releases and profile. downrating everything a 1/10 - anyone can view your comments, timestamps, not just on this release and see the real story. you should be ashamed.

you
uys are ridiculously jealous and need to step off - permanently.

not going to argue about it- everyone knows where the joust release originated from.

#2 i am not looking for conflict, however it is apparent that some of you guys like didi, ian coog and from other comments making fun of my pics are intentionally mocking, insulting me, spreading false info. please stop it.

and hedning, yes understood - thanks for the advice, as mentioned i will fix the pics.

The .crt at GTW is NOT the source of this recrack, anyone with a hexeditor can compare it with your version and see it is Laxity's version with the trainer text removed. And you should be ashamed of yourselves denying the evidence, and self voting your releases with 10s.
Text at $7d00, trainer code at $7f00, $DD marking at $a6f1.

I sent a PM 12 hours ago, and saw that you got it even then. Just follow protocol and all will be fine. Screenshots should in the best of worlds be gifs with intro, main gfx and in game screenshots, but intro is ok enough. Your screenshots did not follow the guidelines, so I reverted them. I sent you another PM asking you to read the guidelines before adding more of your non pixel exact screenshots. Thank you.

"Yeah, those damn lamers faking recracks. :-D"

not sure what they comment means, as far as the crack, i believe anyone can open a monitor and inspect the contents. no need for false accusations.

also, this was a crt provided
https://www.gamesthatwerent.com/gtw64/joust/

Anyone it can grab it and convert it to prg. No reason to crybaby over a game that frankly did not need any training in the first. i myself simply contributing the pic. so you really should not be pointing fingers at me. hope that clarifies.

I spend hours adding info and replacing the bad pics first posted uploaded with resized proper pics for the moment. i am hardly being lazy or uploading the wrong. plus crediting everything. i made these is ntsc and for stated ntsc and thus i want them in ntsc. it has not even been a few hours and you did not even give me a chance to see the pm. i replied and explained. could have asked me first. the explicit rule for pics mentioned size and dimension REQUESTING no crt. If you asked me you i would have told you, which i just did in detail my reasons, that i replaced these with accurate pics. the others were garbage and entirely misrepresented the crack.

Mo: I will revert the screenshots to the previous ones if you can't upload proper ones. That goes for all you added screenshots.

If you converted the original so easily from crt to prg, why is my trainerscreen code still present at $7f00 and the rewritten routines are at exactly the same places? ;-)

An excellent, true NTSC conversion of box art. Not overworked like bad plastic surgery. Absolutely delightful. The Joust crt was released freely and easily convertable to to a prg file. There are no trainers in this release. There are only a dozen or so levels, if I remember, as I personally played it and beat it, thus trainers not necessary in my opinion. Great artwork. ;o)

Recrack of Joust +1D with ugly converted pic added. How do I know that? Because I tagged my crack and it needed a few modifications to get it working without cartridge. ;-)
