Looks ugly but it's very playable, and has the two-player simultaneous option that the IJK clone was always lacking.

Got the original Atari 800XL cartridge.

Now I'm curious to compare it to this version!

In movie it was (for cinematic action reason and for the reason that younger generations woudn't probably connect to that so easily) replaced by Racing game, as far as I remember. It's a pity because you could imagine they could make it quite cinematic experience if they went into the game "tron style". Joust on Atari is the best player vs player gaming experience I ever had. A lot of fun and thanx to excellent gravity imitation very good variability of gaming situations.

Really great. "Joust" is a famous arcade-classic and now we have a second version besides Jouste from IJK Software. Until today, I even didn't knew, that there was worked on another C64 port of this game, back in the 80's, that was never released.
