Watching this demo, made me realize I still know nothing about the c64.

Looks more like a tech demo IMO. The glass ball effect on the font looks simply amazing. The interference is looking really good as well, even when they stated they used a 'simple' effect.

I do really like this demo, I was totally shocked when I saw it first, somewhere in 1993.
Just a question. There is a part with two logos, a 5-color hires and 3-color multicolor one. How they did that, when you switch off the interlace effect? :) For me it is still unbelievable. 10/10!

Good demo. The highly colourful DYCP looks great.
Sure I have seen the demo in the past - I don't recall ever seeing the final 'ball over scroller' part.

oh, and i don't care about it not being a trackmo,, that is amiga and pc inspired stuff and i love demo parts that i can actually watch for more than 5 seconds.... lol...

Really a milestone demo. Not that many people in the 64 scene know Grabowsky, but he was definately among the best coders the c64 ever had!
That bulging oneframed Hires-Scroller in the end-part is sheer bliss, and comparing that to the lens-effect that AEG made in Second Reality c64 (not oneframed and in 4x4) it is one prime example of an effect from 2nd reality that could've been done much better on c64...

when leon comes over we always have some gay fun, its one of the few scene activities that seem to be more fun with a friend :)

When Dafunk comes to my place we always check it out. One of the few demos which seem much cooler when you watch it with a scene-friend :D

I don't know what you mean exactly, but I remember a little war-thingy going on between Graffity and Faces for a while(in that time both groups were amongst the principal Hungarian scene-groups). That didn't raise Grf's reputation I guess.

Why did everyone hate Graffity back then? Or didn't they?! I always was a great fan and this demo really rocked (still duz)!

"FLI logo on the right side of the screen with the HIRES logo (with FX) on the left side of the screen. There is a virtical split that then moves left and right. As far as i know, this is a first of sorts :)"

It's a real mad d011 split resulting hires FPD+FLI in the same area. Afaik Graffity made it very first.
