@Exploding First: FLI mode should be enough for most CPC pictures since it's very close to a true 160x200 @ 16 colors mode already.

That's right, the CPC didn't have any 8x8 colour restrictions. And sometimes it is luck that a good picture comes out like this.

This is cool... now, someone should release a version of this game with this intro added to the loader...

Yeah, you can be lucky that its just simple shapes and no anti aliasing. :)

Very nice indeed. The CPC didn't have any 8x8 colour restrictions, right ? I.e. every pixel could be in any of the 16 colours? If so then this is even a better conversion :)

Nicely done. Even if there are some bugs on the left side of the diaper. :)

Disregarding the effort that obviously went into coding an Amstrad->VIC converter, why would you want to? No offense, just curious.

Hehehe, Stainless Steel got it right ;-)

The problem is known: screen size and resolution are the same but Amstrad has an other colour palette: 16 from 27. Therefore Data-Land uses an own coded programme called "GraVIC-Station".

Dont misinterpret Scout's corny irony.

The C64 has rather peculiar restrictions if it comes to colours in pictures.
How's that on an Amstrad?
I mean, is it very hard to convert pictures, colour-wise?

Converted with a own coded graphic engine. Source is the Amstrad CPC title picture. Commodore 64 version never had a title pic.
