is that salad cream on his hair? lol... such a wonderful picture! reminds me of 'sam and max' vs 'ren and stimpy' style. | User Comment Submitted by DeeKay on 7 December 2008
Way to go, Ptoing! ;-D We'd have never imagined that anyone actually ever used Asslace, but you did it very smoothly, without much flickering, while keeping the sharpness intact! 8) In fact, Crossbow just mailed me, telling me about this! ;-D | User Comment Submitted by Steppe on 5 December 2008 User Comment Submitted by MacGyver on 4 December 2008
Great ptoing style meets technical tricks. You get unusual colors, a high resolution with only very little flickering. | User Comment Submitted by Heavy Stylus on 4 December 2008
Nice work ptoing - fresh and original as always! :D | User Comment Submitted by tempest on 4 December 2008
Assvis has entered the building. great pic. | User Comment Submitted by Jucke on 3 December 2008
breathtaking on real c64. i had to rub my eyes and look again, there was something about this picture that made it look almost unreal on c64. keep it up ptoing, you rock. | User Comment Submitted by Ed on 3 December 2008
I agree on Daison on this one. Nice play of resolution and this one is slightly more compelling than the other release of today. I would love to see this resolution taken one step further with the introduction of moving elements on top of the flickering grid pattern, or to enforce nuances, introduce color-splits, or anything else of similar nature. | User Comment Submitted by MagerValp on 3 December 2008 User Comment Submitted by Archmage on 3 December 2008
Nice one Ptoing! Good background. | User Comment Submitted by The Shadow on 3 December 2008
You gotta love this. Sceners are awesome! | User Comment Submitted by ptoing on 3 December 2008
Cheers for the replies :)
daison: The aged look is what I was going for :)
saehn: I checked the picture in normal MCI mode as well and I reall do not like how that mode jitters. Sharp details stay much sharper in Asslace than in Drazlace. Also I like how the sprites tint the whole picture. And try to check it on a real C64, looks MUCH better than on emulator :) | User Comment Submitted by saehn on 3 December 2008
Great style as usual but man that Asslace is rough! At least it is on emulators, don't know how it would look on the real deal. Maybe Drazlace would have been better, but again hard to say since I can't see it. :-/

I like the brown dithering in the download version though. It feels 'aged' and that's pretty original imo. | User Comment Submitted by Skate on 3 December 2008 User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 3 December 2008
