@yonx: Hehe.. Nice! Greet them from me and tell them that they could have my autograph if they want it badly. ;)

EDIT: Just played this thing from HVSIDS in SIDPLAY on mac and found that while the bird song is playing in voice three, I am obviously also fiddling with the test-bit in voice one although voice one is not supposed to be used at all... Oh well.. :)

Impressive sound work... Must have been hard to do... But does this qualify as being music? ;)

@Booker: That's okay. Just tell him "eek eek eek eek skweeeeeeeek", and he will know what it is all about.

Oswald: In at least two ways. The first of them is that the bird is of a kind which is typically found in Sweden (among some other countries). The other is that birds, even within the same species, often sound different in different regions. Then there are of course many ways in which birds are not "Swedish" in the same sense as humans are.

Mizt: Thanks! Check the trivia. There is a (partial) list there. Some of them sound more like they should, and others less... :)

There is some talgoxe in there, but a complete list of all the birds would be apritiated.

Great!

Olivier Messiaen would have been pleased none-the-less and probably John Cage as well...

I miss some of the local types myself, like the seagulls and the Jackdaw for example.
