Carrion: that reply tells more about dildo than required =D
another funky association: when looking at that chimp, you can easily take it as a dino head facing left. now what would freud say to THAT? ^_^ | User Comment Submitted by ptoing on 19 October 2016
Carrion: "Art is almost always harmless and charitable, it does not want to be anything other but illusion." | User Comment Submitted by Carrion on 19 October 2016
@Greopaz

I see light house there in polish white/red flag on it... DK refer to it as DBreeze homage (which i don't deny)
but Well...
one can sees what he wants ...
what was the thing that Sigmund Freud once said? ;) | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 19 October 2016
i like the dildo in the background | User Comment Submitted by Carrion on 19 October 2016
@hedning
works fine on my setup.
Get better cable or better monitor ;)
or both | User Comment Submitted by hedning on 17 July 2015
Great until you run it on a real c64 - the interference in the chess dithered parts make the pic stripey. | User Comment Submitted by NecroPolo on 23 September 2010 User Comment Submitted by booker on 22 September 2010
Quoting Digger it even flickers on my Mac ;)
Broken display :) | User Comment Submitted by Kristian on 22 September 2010
There's a lot of niceness in this image, however I think it would look even better without the C64 and the planets. Great work! | User Comment Submitted by Digger on 22 September 2010
Ah ha! There it is. Nice chessboard shading techniques, it even flickers on my Mac ;) Well done mister Mielnik! | User Comment Submitted by Mr. SID on 21 September 2010
To me it's the opposite. I think this is the first NUFLI image that I would consider art, not just impressive on a technical level. I absolutely love the composition and the depth of the image... | User Comment Submitted by DeeKay on 21 September 2010
Love the Dutch Breeze Hommage with the planets and the Lighthouse! ;-) Though I still think the black bleed will be evil in this one on real HW thanks to dithering with black in large areas! | User Comment Submitted by Hoild on 20 September 2010
Seems to be a good use of the format, but it is more of a "tech demo" than an artwork, in my opinion.
No doubt, NUFLI allows the C64 to do things we have only seen on 16 bit and early 32 bit platforms until this new format appeared. | User Comment Submitted by leonofsgr on 20 September 2010
oh, wow! cool interlace gfx, but suxxx screenshot... (use two layer and photoshop, etc... ;_) 9/10 | User Comment Submitted by booker on 20 September 2010
Ay kickass, obviously :D Unfortunately at the party the big screen has f0ked 50% of the details....
| User Comment Submitted by daison on 20 September 2010
What a great idea for a pic! I love everything about it and can't wait to see it on a real PAL, instead of Vice here @ work... | User Comment Submitted by mikme on 20 September 2010
I love NUFLI! Love your pics, Carrion. Great idea though a bit flat color/textures transitions. | User Comment Submitted by Raffox|HF on 19 September 2010

You uploaded a screenshot from an Amiga drawing, didnt you? | User Comment Submitted by Deev on 19 September 2010
superb stuff! love the style, the composition...I'm sure this would win pretty much any compo you entered! Because I'm a miserable bastard I don't give many 10s, but this is definitely worth one! :) One of my all time favourites. | User Comment Submitted by Joe on 19 September 2010
Congratulations!
(I told you so :D) | User Comment Submitted by Cresh on 19 September 2010
I assume c64 is some kind of reference to Heraklion
| User Comment Submitted by Frantic on 19 September 2010
On the whole, very very nice! ..and I agree with the others that the C64 looks odd. | User Comment Submitted by Wile Coyote on 19 September 2010
The like the idea, with lots going on, and the way the daytime clouds mix with the night sky.
The C64 in the water looks kinda long. | User Comment Submitted by Linus on 19 September 2010
Uff, now that´s really something. Great stuff, mate! | User Comment Submitted by PAL on 19 September 2010 User Comment Submitted by Mr. SID on 19 September 2010 User Comment Submitted by FMan on 19 September 2010

c64 is a little bit big in the scene but other than that, that's one of the best c64 graphics i've ever seen! |
