not bad but somehow i found it quite boring at the partyplace. listening to it at home i have significantly better reception. btw. snaredrum is quite weak but tom sound on the other hand rools ;) | User Comment Submitted by Leming on 9 October 2010
I really love it. A bit too long for a compo but hey its good. We want more tunes from you now! | User Comment Submitted by Tim on 7 October 2010 User Comment Submitted by hedning on 7 October 2010
I remember this tune from X, and I like it. I used to believe that almost all of the contemporary sids in competitions these days are acid untz-untz-untz, so I am happy that I found this calm one that prooves me wrong.
Good tune! Keep it up! | User Comment Submitted by Tim on 6 October 2010
@Yazoo
*lol* thanks buddy.. it's a good thing that I had my drama queen moment right when I saw you.. makes it easier to handle the low rank now ;)
oh well.. new motivation for the next one!
@Booker
thanks a lot for the long comment mate!
Agreed on all fronts.. something to focus on for new tracks.
ps, Almost forgot to thank Zerozillion for helping me out fitting the ringmod in this sid, never works out when I try myself ;) sorry G!

i remember talking with you about your compotune (i missed the sid-compo because i was sleeping) - and i think its actually not as bad as you told me :) | User Comment Submitted by booker on 5 October 2010
I gave you 8 at the party and listening to the whole I see no reason to change that to lower (and 8 is quite high for me)
I tell you how I vote, coz I don't wanna go personal here (seems a honest tune mate) - I just vote if I like a tune or not. Sometimes giving +1 for various reasons like musical/technical progress, or coming back after a long break, etc.
Even though the tune tells the story, it goes a bit boring for me (too repetitive), however musically everything seem to be in order there. (mind I'm deaf). Could use some more modern instruments though (snare drum, also a bit more phasing/vibrato on bass, leads, slow arps) and cut the repetitiveness here and there. I think it would add more "juice" to it.
Good tune. | User Comment Submitted by Tim on 5 October 2010
hi guys.. can you please do me a favour and listen to this one in full?
The track runs for 6 min, 2 secs.. and is a break away from my usual style.. It's probably the most tweaking I ever did on a tune in small details and I was hoping it would sound better then my usual average..
Having entered this in the x2010 compo without remembering what a propper bass set-up sounds like, I obviously should have released something else :(
Shit happens ;) nevertheless, could you guys please check this in full? It runs for 6:02 mins and I would appreciate any feedback (positive or negative)
thanks
Tim (Bordeaux)
