@cruzer: no, really it should not ;-) it was just boring. i could laugh about it for about 10 seconds. then the fun was over. |
User Comment Submitted by Cruzer on 17 May 2011
I think it was lulzy, especially because it went on for so long. Only regret is that is hasn't been released. It should become a tradition to show it before every c64 demo compo :) |
User Comment Submitted by Scout on 17 May 2011
Well, you can blame me...no, actually Deekay for showing this 'demo' for far too long.
He insisted to let it show longer because something good had to come.
So I did, because hey, it's Crest so something revolutionary could start any minute.
In the end Deekay was the only one who came, me thinks :)
So sorry to everybody who felt offended. I will never ever listen to Deekay again! :) |
User Comment Submitted by Conrad on 17 May 2011
This was my second demoparty, and the last thing I wanted to see was an embarrassing "demo" like that. :( I mean really, in front of >200 mature people, including females? This may sound crazy, but for the first time ever... THUMBS DOWN! |
User Comment Submitted by PAL on 8 April 2011
X2010 were so good... the only really bad and very embarrassing memory I can locate in my brain at the actual party were that crest demo showing porn... I remember yup and his whife looking at the big screen and he looked like something less than a human... she just looked at the screen too and I guess he had to explain to her that it were great in a way... muhaaaa muhaaaa... the horror it were... and it lasted forever too... it just would not stop that demo... I thought for myself that hey, that is pretty cool to do that wit a reu and all but what a lousy show it really were... and if I do remember right it were a sid tune on there... ha ha ha.... |
User Comment Submitted by Ninja on 7 April 2011
Oh, please, don't bring back the only bad memory of this exceptionally awesome party! |
User Comment Submitted by Jazzcat on 7 April 2011
Last I heard on "Farmtro 2010" is that DeeKay was still syncing it. Now, I am hoping the demo is being sync'ed and not something else instead... :P |
User Comment Submitted by wacek on 7 April 2011
I personally hope they never will ;) |
User Comment Submitted by Steppe on 7 April 2011
I wonder why Crest never released their fabulous animation demo with the naked women doing funny things with naked men. What's up with that? |

So many picture links around here... still lacking Dezert's party-portfolio though..
I was almost dead for the whole week because this party exhausted me to a pretty horrible low energy-level.
So... i'm up for round two. Same time next week?

@Jammer: Dezert/Charged took lots of photos, but he's still in the middle of processing them... they'll be on soon. I think booker did a few short movie clips as well |

@Jammer: If you haven't seen yet, C64.sk has a nice set of links. |

User Comment Submitted by HCL on 6 October 2010
Great party as always!! Though considering the interesting results from the demo compo, i regret that i didn't participate in the price ceremony. I just had to go to sleep after working ~12 hours with the demo on the saturday, which in turn, i also sort of regret ;P. |
User Comment Submitted by OMP on 6 October 2010
Hell yeah, thanks for an awesome time! To the arrangers, the new people I met, all the other Offenders, and all the others I didn't get to talk to due to the liberal laws of the netherlands
Gotta go back next time - still can't focus a 100% on work, too much 64 stuff spinning around up there :)
Cheers my friends! |

Indeed, it was a great party! Very inspiring, and it was great to meet a lot of people! This was my first time with computer, and I had big fun! Sorry I was a bit less comunicative from time to time, but be ensured I enjoyed it very much, and I guess I can say that for herbaculum, my wife, too!
A big thanks to 6581! It was a damn great concert and we loved the selection!
Sitting at home now and relistening to the recorded stream gives a nice feeling of all the scenes that come to mind!
And good to see, that there where again a lot of releases on the party!
A big thanks to the organizers! That sure was a lot of work! I'm allready looking forward to the next one! |

Great party! It was nice meeting lots of the people I've only seen on the forum or emailed with: Jan, Ulf, Zaphod, Yup, Mr.SID, Linus, Steppe, GRG, Sander, Twoflower, A Life In Hell + many others I'm afraid I was too drunk to remember. Yeeha! I finally get to actually attend one of these!! I've wanted to ever since I saw the X'96 invite demo. |
User Comment Submitted by The Phantom on 8 September 2010
Well, one thing, I can't afford airfare from Chicago.
Just thought it would be cool to see the party, the people and everything that goes on at these parties. |
User Comment Submitted by PAL on 7 September 2010
If one can view it on a webcam, why not just be there? |
User Comment Submitted by The Phantom on 7 September 2010
Facebook link doesn't work...
What would be SWEET is to set up a web-cam based website site, for those who can't attend in person. (hint) |
