I was working the streets of Chicago under "The Wizard of 63rd" for a couple years. My sister passed her c64 over to my younger brother and he passed it to me. I was using an Atari 600xl home computer before the c64 and already programming some pretty stupid basic routines.
I was using my c64 almost right away. I believe that was in 1988, maybe 1987. I know I put in a year or two before meeting Wrong Way, and by that time, I acquired a koala pad and had some images drawn.
Walking to The Ami's house via railroad tracks Aaron (Wrong Way) and I wanted a new crew. His crew that I joined was Metal Maniacs Inc. I doubt ANYBODY has any of that stuff (wish ya did though).
We came up with FOE and I have no clue how the actual Forces Of Evil label came about, but I know for sure it was FOE first, Forces Of Evil last.
We had to have new handles too. Something that wasn't around. His name, Wrong Way, fit his person, which he eventually made a thing of it (like he always did things the wrong way). I haven't seen The Phantom around or used, and it also described my personality.
When we arrived at Ami's, we told him the tale and we all laughed and ordered a pizza (we always had pizza back then, ALWAYS).
I've changed my handle several times during the years, Rage, Transparent, Wizard and a few others that I dare not mention.
Trivia :
Ran a BBS off 3 SFD 1001's, 1541 2 and a 1581.
I remember starting GREAT groups, like Storm. I was upset it was taken over by Canadians, but still, they turned out great without me.
Dream was another group I had part in starting, not sure what happened with that group.
My first ever public release was Jumpman Jr. Trained, of course. Had a basic intro and released that under the name DISCO...
I released a few full screen pictures under MMI (Metal Maniacs Inc). One, I duped from Echelon, right out of the magazine, using my koala pad.
The people I've met throughout the years are incredible people and I feel blessed to have met each and every one of you, the same applies to those I've never met, but know anyway ;)

After the BS from my last release, I decided I'm done with the C64.
