looks great on real DTV2 on PAL color TV, no artefacts or whatsoever though I got no colorfix modding. | User Comment Submitted by Yogibear on 29 July 2012 User Comment Submitted by AüMTRöN on 24 July 2012

both picture and the graphic mode is very nice. i should start learning about dtv hw details to be able to comment more than "nice", "good job" etc. :) | User Comment Submitted by Linus on 23 July 2012
Impressive, good job, guys!
@Deekay: Back to Tiger then! ;) | User Comment Submitted by Frost on 23 July 2012
@Street Tuff: Well, that explains it... *facepalm* | User Comment Submitted by Street Tuff on 23 July 2012
@frost
that happens if x64dtv runs as dtv v2.
settings -> c64dtv settings -> dtv3
didnt bothered to check for dtv v2 in my code. | User Comment Submitted by Frost on 23 July 2012
I tried to run it in VICE 2.3 on my windows machine.
I loads fine and the music seems to play nicely, but the graphics is garbled.
edit: wat. Tried to run it again and now it seems to work better, but I still get some kind of artefacts:

Matt: you start x64dtv and load it?
(If you can that is, for some reason x64dtv won't start on my Quad G5 with MacOS 10.5.8, i think it used to work in 10.4.11! Same for VICE 2.2 and 2.3) | User Comment Submitted by Matt on 22 July 2012
And how exactly do I run DTV with VICE? | User Comment Submitted by tlr on 22 July 2012
Wow, very smooth! No flickering on my TFT either.
@Dr.J: yes, DTV2/3 is emulated by x64dtv. | User Comment Submitted by Dr.j on 22 July 2012 User Comment Submitted by CONS on 22 July 2012
This is really impressive. I saw it at the party on real hardware. The gfx looks extremely good although the resolution is nowhere near the original.
And secondly, i saw the standard interlace version which flickered pretty good and this new mode which manages to remove the flickering almost completely. And i still wonder how this scroller transparency is done. Very well done! |
