fieserWolF: a few more ideas:
+ swap colour option
+ mirror block horizontal / vertical option
+ sprites in border on / off
cheers :) | User Comment Submitted by Green on 24 August 2014
more than one frame for scrolling or single screen animation would be nice ! one bug (maybe) can't draw color with joystick until i pres keyboard ex. spacebar. | User Comment Submitted by Ksubi on 16 May 2014
TheRyk: That's exactly it :) | User Comment Submitted by TheRyk on 16 May 2014
Ahhh, now I get it, I guess, sth to create "multi screen" PETSCII? Good idea and there should be enough RAM for doing so, maybe even offering more than two screens and maybe even decide whether to scroll vertically or horizontally or alternatively framewise (for animated single screens). As you said, nothing urgent but since wolf keeps asking us for improvement, such stuff would be nice to have :) | User Comment Submitted by Ksubi on 14 May 2014
TheRyk: No, thats not what I mean. (although it would come on handy at times, however most of us can just do that manually if need be :))
What I mean is the ability to merge two 25x40 petscii screens either vertically or horizontally and being able to scroll the linked area. (like most editors in zoom mode)
I'm thinking this would be nice for anyone using real machine and wanting to create an image in petscii that needs to be scrolled (logo etc).
At the moment I'm doing exactly that, but using Photoshop to link each screen, then making adjustments accordingly.
No biggy, just an idea for future development :) | User Comment Submitted by TheRyk on 14 May 2014
@Ksubi: A PETSCII overscan tool exporting sprite data for borders like in Mermaid's PETSCII Skull Intro ? :)
Though I like the idea, this might be a little over the top for the average PETSCII Joe. | User Comment Submitted by Ksubi on 11 May 2014
fieserWolF: What would be nice is a feature to be able to draw beyond the typical 25x40 screen.
Perhaps an option to link screens or the screen could scroll up / down, left / right with specific keys?
Just an idea :) Thanks again for this tool. | User Comment Submitted by Karoshier on 22 April 2014
Very comfortable and versatile editor, which has got even better now. It has already been useful twice, saving me quite some work time. Thanks a lot Fieserwolf for the continued effort in writing this tool, maintaining it, and for being so proactive in the handling of suggestions and bug reports!
Keep rocking, pal! | User Comment Submitted by fieserWolF on 19 April 2014
Scarzix: I could implement a kind of "pattern-fill" option if you want. btw, this is also a fullscreen editor (sprites are in the border)
Ksubi: nice idea, will implement setting saving in the next version for sure!
also planned for next version: block invert, fullscreen preview (without sprites)
Please, continue writing feature requests and help making this tool stronger and stronger | User Comment Submitted by Ksubi on 19 April 2014
Wonderful tool, thanks heaps :)
A small request would be to be able to save pre-sets / set up. | User Comment Submitted by Scarzix on 18 April 2014
cool, I just gotta find some time to try this out. I loved to make "patterns" etc. back then in late 80's. But I had some other tool back then like a screenwrite, but it was for fullscreens so it just converted it all into basic lines as I recall it.
Looking forward to test this. Looks nice so far. | User Comment Submitted by TheRyk on 18 April 2014
Note to myself: Comment != PM...
