Oh man! That just made my day, Magervalp! So great! Would you mind if I used your son's pics as examples for the app? Thanx a lot for posting this! Totally made my day! | User Comment Submitted by MagerValp on 8 November 2014
My son, who already likes pixeling in Grafx2, likes this one a lot! Output so far: | User Comment Submitted by grasstust on 3 November 2014
Thank you for kind words and feedback.
Mr. SID: I will look into this asap! Good find!
Rough: Yeah, my daughter (2 years) likes it! And I've seen a daughter of a friend of mine use it too... My daughter was most interested in clicking the mailbox and the disks, while my friend's daughter was more into creating stuff. I might need to make a save-option...
I would love to hear feedback from others who have used it and if there's anything you want added! | User Comment Submitted by Mr. SID on 30 October 2014
My almost 2 year-old daughter seems to like it so far.
Just one little suggestion: When dragging all they way off the screen the drag is lost, so moving back into the canvas means you have to lift your finger. You should be able to start the motion when you're still outside of the touch area. | User Comment Submitted by Rough on 28 October 2014
Like that too. Did you already encounter any kids using the tool, Grasstust? | User Comment Submitted by Yogibear on 25 October 2014 User Comment Submitted by rez on 25 October 2014
haha, how cute :)
love the idea :) | User Comment Submitted by grasstust on 25 October 2014
I also want to add that I decided to use square pixels because some of the sprites have single colour overlay. I might add doublewidth pixeling in a later update. | User Comment Submitted by grasstust on 25 October 2014
I wanted to make an iPad app for kids that would show what pixel graphics is and how it is made. At the same time, I wanted to create a fun way of experiencing the good old "getting our stuff by mail". So you click on the mail box and get graphics and tools which can be used in the editor. It's simple, it's free and hopefully, it's a fun little thing that can help you explain our passion for the computer we will always love. |
