ehhh... yes they are but they are created with love and dedication and with so much work so there is clearly a difference... I can see me going at that scarlet image and work on that for a month!

Yeah, still looks great..

If it's executable on a c-64 it doesn't need another GFX category IMO
That would be the same if I use samples created with high standard PC tools and FX in my next tunes or giving Goat tracker 2 sids another category aswell...

awesome, the light/shadows/contrast is perfect, as is the cutout etc. its not like anyone can wire a pic this good in 5 minutes :) also it clearly could take a lot of per pixel job and look twice as good afterwards.

Oh and one more thing:
Next movie would be showing a pic I created for Dream for their upcoming demo - to be released at BCC I guess. So stay tuned and wait till Sunday for next YT film.

Also On my blog you can find photoshop file for learning purposes.

Well. It wasn't ment to be a CSDB release but I guess it's too late now.
Here's part #2 of the YT film, that shows hot to use Timanthes co recolor parts of the image exported from PS.

@PAL
And yes it's impresive tecnique. I'm surprising myself when experimenting with it. And I'll keep saying it should be used mainly for sketchin your own ideas and later take them Timanthes or other tool of choice and finish it there. Using for converts is only for learning purposes.
You guys cant imageine how many experiments I have on my hard drive. Maybe it should be released in some form sometime.

Cool. And of course it's a valid release, but it should be like "other platform C64 demo" or something. :D And lol @ hulk eyeballs

Great proof of concept but does it count as valid release? How long did it take in total? ;]

It is truly impressive! What is a bit sad is that in the c64 scene there is this thing inside the mind that always buzz you... wired job or not or converts... For myself I must say that I really enjoy the silence and the meditational part of going at the images I do and I actually love that I spend so much time on them... every day I have saved a new version in like 3-5 steps and so on and I can see it becomming something over weeks of work or even months and more... I guess it is a weird thing in the end - I like that weirdness... if it become a master-of-the-scripts-thing only it is a bit sad in the end... Well Carrion... you impress me every time so bring on more of these it is truly interesting to look at!

pretty impressive for 5 min wire hob, regarding pixels only. colorwise, green eyeballs are matter of taste ;)

Wow, even a great job if you would have spend 15 minutes... Watched the tutorial and this can really help "craphicains" to try a different approache to get the job done..

btw What happend to her eyes, she looks like she is about to change
in a hot She-Hulk ;D

5 minute wire job. Added this as it's worth adding for learning purposes. Haters gonna hate anyway. Full post and video here http://retronavigator.com/post/112134100678/i-just-played-a-bit..
btw. CSDB needs another GFX category – "wired art".
