I ... LOVE ... THIS!

Played a lot of Lego Space as a kid so the nostalgia is strong with this one.
The late 80s models were the best of the bunch imo. Bought a few of those (Space Police & Blacktron), although my Lego days were practically over by then.

Sequel please! :D

This is great stuff. What about an extended director's cut? It's too short IMO =) Awesome soundtrack btw!

I love it! I used to be a lego fanatic and my room was littered with the old 80's space lego, I used to have the big ones, Now I have new reasons to play with Lego due to having a small 4 yrs old boy that starts to have interest in lego ;) \o/ death star next ;) \o/ the demo really catches my nostalgic lego feeling.. thx..

Lovely!
So getting drunk and driving is the safest way, right?
I like the audience catcher, miss the playable game though.
Note: The repeated theme of the safe ride/unsecure one is nice.

Just a question, as the audience seem to have forgotten about
“Legoland” and pretty much about history. How much of the gfx is
around 20-5 years old, and what's new, part from the obvious things?

as for the nice video, when you (and this goes for everybody) watch demos from channels who have monetisation enabled, you are supporting people who want to earn a buck from public domain scene productions.

these people are the modern day equivalent of public domain dealers who sold demos on disks to poor fellas who couldnt get contacts in the scene back in the day.

These folks may try to explain that they have enabled ads and monetisation to "compensate for their efforts" and other ridiculous excuses. Well, who's compensating for the efforts of the sceners then??

a trackloader is fancy and kool, but save the nature and keep stuff that takes less than half a diskside filecopyable, please ;)

Wtf, does it say "LL915"!?? There was no 915 was there!? There was the starship cruzer LL928, the middle-class LL924, and the budget LL918 that i got :P. My life has been hell ever since..

Well done Moh! This reminded me of a similar Legoman game I did once in '95 that was never released – now's the time :)

PAL: Oh for fuck's sake. I never said I don't like your demos, on the contrary I've made positive comments on a lot of them, and I sure as hell didn't criticize them here - unless you think "polished" is a negative verdict.

You must realize that there are other demo styles though, and that a lot of the demos that for example Hollowman did were great even though they didn't look like yours. Things can be good in different ways.

If I want to listen to Darkthrone I don't put on an Emerson, Lake and Palmer album, you know? While I think ELP are fantastic, sometimes I'm simply in the mood for Darkthrone, even though they're nowhere near as polished.

fantastic demo... I really enjoyed it, even got a special YouTube of it... thanx.... in regards to what Carsten commented on I am all in on that... sensetive? hell yahhh.... here we have been working our arses off to multiply 50 frames of real-time art, with fantastic music and code and all the way we have been told we are not following a red thread or coherence or we did this and that you should not do you should do it like this and all... fuck you all, I am so insane tired of your feedback when you do not do it yourself....... or like me when Triad beat us and I went on a rant just because of my own mind not in shape at that time, so when that is said and now it is time to say that the feedback was not meant like that but if one do eat chocolate cake and love it, it is also great to eat something else... totally into that... just understand that someone use so much of they r life to make something great for you and cherish that!

I have never seen the original LEGOland series, but as a true LEGO fan, I can only say that I am GOING to now.

btw. whats wrong with Pantapolished demos? I find them to be rather AWESOME to be honest.

When Moh joined Fairlight I was a bit worried that he would simply get absorbed into the modern FLT demo machine, but luckily that fear turned out to be unfounded. :-) We even get a new demo soundtrack by Zabutom in this one!

Overall the demo - though simple - feels very fresh after last years' onslaught of über polished Pantaloon/PAL productions. It reminds me of some of the jollier Hollowman demos. Kudos!
