Is it a broken CIA detection, or a crazy beat that's about to happen?? :P

Oswald you got credit for help and the interference bump frame work I used here... So if that's Ninja's code I can add him, too. No problem with that. Tomorrow I will look into the source again. Now I know how to crash vice ;) on every platform something new :D.

Oswald: Yeah, I assumed it was a misunderstanding, all fine here. Pity about the broken CIA detection, though.

to further clarify: Heaven got the 4x4 timing as part of another effect I wanted to share with him. It wasnt like: here take this 4x4 timing it was done by ME. :)

ofcourse the 4x4 timing is done by Ninja. I havent told Heaven, so the misunderstanding, also he got the source like ages ago, I totally forgot he got the 4x4 routine from there. @Heaven remove me and add Ninja to the credits. I thought you added me in the creadits (in the dmeo) because of helping. :)

yeah... as I said... I got source with several options but I might did some conversion errors when moving his source code format into Atari MADS format (the if statements, the .page stuff etc).

Oswald's 4x4? Oswald, really? :D Well, at least the versions I used to give him had proper CIA detection.

will have a look into the technical issues but might need help from veterans. Maybe I did some conversion errors in Oswald's 4x4 FLI raster code when moving source to MADS.

ian: it crashes in x64 exactly the same way if you select new CIAs (or C64C for that matter) :)

I've uploaded a "fixed" one. There's a good chance it works on both CIA types, except when it's crashing. Then start again ;)

works in x64, while in x64sc I have to set C64 PAL, setting C64C PAL it crashes.
Also fails in HOXS.

actually, you reproduce the crash in VICE too... it crashes when you have new CIAs :)

same here, crashes after the picture with the two faces..... interesting that it works in VICE :)

Ok, so everyone is watching this on YT, fine.

By the way it's crashing before any effects could start no matter what I try. Yes, even on stock C64C loaded from 1541.
