Grumpyness was the reason I decided the c64 scene was for me. | User Comment Submitted by Frantic on 15 February 2016 User Comment Submitted by hedning on 15 February 2016 User Comment Submitted by pgarcia on 15 February 2016
About 'hedning'. I don't understand why that piss you off that much. Of course every one knows such graphics on an actual Monkey Island game is impossible. It is just an exercise for our imagination. We don't need to be technically accurate all the time for everything related to C64. CSDb releases like this one is a proof that art surpass technicality details. | User Comment Submitted by Jak T Rip on 14 February 2016 User Comment Submitted by Oswald on 12 February 2016
dont know what you mean, maybe not having bigger than 64k continouous memory will cause problems? | User Comment Submitted by JackAsser on 12 February 2016
@Oswald: I did some initial checks in ScummVM what MI requires. Using a REU or EF it might be possible, but as V3t0 I also have my strong doubts. It's gonna be hairy... | User Comment Submitted by v3to on 12 February 2016

just strap a huge reu on the c64 and MI is doable even in bitmap mode. | User Comment Submitted by Karmic on 12 February 2016
Converts getting 9.3 average score? No. | User Comment Submitted by hedning on 12 February 2016
It annoys me that people are pissing their pants over this. At least when they post it all over the net as a "what if Monkey Island was made for the C64". No: It would NOT look like this as it is a multicolour pic. Veto's version is more like it, as it's using charmode.
But as a repixelled converted picture this one is nice, of course. And it's not Oliver Orosz' fault that people refuse to wear diapers when needed. | User Comment Submitted by TheRyk on 11 February 2016
Hmh, funny, looking at veto's version the menu/inventory bar seems to be "the law" :D | User Comment Submitted by Rudi on 11 February 2016
wow. nice. definitly a game i will play when its fin. | User Comment Submitted by TheRealWanderer on 11 February 2016
I want to see more of this (the whole game) :D | User Comment Submitted by cercamon on 11 February 2016
Good graphics indeed! Now waiting for the complete adventure game... :-) | User Comment Submitted by leonofsgr on 11 February 2016
easy convert, but HARD re-pixelwork! great! nice mc mode! | User Comment Submitted by v3to on 11 February 2016
Looks very nice indeed.
Interesting... I was thinking about a Monkey Island what-if-scenario one month ago and did a charmode-based mockup (which still needs reduction and optimization for a fictive port. MI isn't really a good match for a C64).

VERY good convert dude! :) | User Comment Submitted by DATA-LAND on 10 February 2016
Oh yes - very beautiful! :) | User Comment Submitted by TheRyk on 10 February 2016
Though I think, the command/inventory bar is oversized - which of course costs Y axis resolution for screen, it's pretty nice! | User Comment Submitted by Frantic on 10 February 2016
Looks very nice. Only thing is that I miss some detail in his face. Perhaps a sprite overlay could have been used there? | User Comment Submitted by Smasher on 10 February 2016 User Comment Submitted by Thunder.Bird on 10 February 2016
Wow, wow wow und wow!
This is so insane, this contrast, these colours, details... all so brilliant :) | User Comment Submitted by Pixman on 10 February 2016
Great :) This is one of my favourite screens in MI2.
