Thanks all

@creamd. the average datasize for all 6 song snippets is 157k (47 seconds each x 6) equates to around 282 seconds (4 minutes and 42 seconds or so). Some of the snippets take up approximately 450 bytes per second on average (speech) while others just under 600 bytes a second. Opted to stream the data instead and to pack the semi-bytepack data (700 bytes unpacked per sec) using doynax instead. This roughly gives the 450-590 or so bytes per second dependant on the audio content.

Utilising lossless codebook with delta for amplitude data instead of 40bits for the amplitude for 8 channels, would have just about given me the rate of over 500 bytes per second without resorting to using the other packer for final packing of the stream, (although this would take up several kilobytes of data for the able) but opted to stream the data instead (and to use the doynax packer to pack the 23 second segments into 10-15k of space

It works well for speech, but bear in mind it is not specifically suited for it (a speech codec for speech only would probably pack the data considerably smaller.)

This is incredible cool Algo... I can only imagine where this will end up in the future... I guess the input to the encoder would do very huge differences in different levels and noise in bottom of compression and so on... very interesting thing you work on here.

Although the sound is somewhat "coloured" by the sinewave, it's still impressive quality.

It's raw, but impressive! How much one song takes in memory?

Should autodetect sid type. Results may vary quite a bit on old sid.

For Digimax mode (Make sure it is set to $de00) Hold down space while booting. All production note texts included in the demo.
