The kerning on the scroller is quite painful, though.

The 3D 'off' effect seems to be contained to characters with a 'bend' on top, ie C, G etc, perhaps a bit too much enthousiasm making the blender export look proper on the C64.

Very nice demo, no matter what.

Yes the perspective was turned off in blender to match the isometric background.

I saw a capture on YT. While it's not full frame rate it's much better than how it was shown on the big screen. Also note that the music is best with proper speakers and on this part I was positively surprised.
