I have first seen it in Beastie Boys Intro. But a slightly different version was used in Strike Force & The Movers Intro. IRL I faced a similar font first time in the title of the Star Trek TNG TV series. My suspicion is that the charset was brought to C64 by 2 different people because of the differences in both versions. In the version from the BB intro the letters can connect to each other while in the SF/M intro they are strictly devided, besides several other differences.

Who did the 2x2 font? I'm pretty sure it ain't DanDee, the font is much older, 1987 if I had to guess.
