@Dr.J: it's true that I didn't touch any pixels, but the grey rasterlines slightly change the look of the pic. now it looks like a chain in the background, but I could have put sprites in the borders and complete the circles instead (which was the first idea, but coding-wise this is simpler).

I don't see what's the problem, tunes and gfx have been always used without explicit permission from their authors, as long as they're credited and the signature is not removed, it's all ok, nothing is stolen. It's extra publicity for the author.
