the scene really needed that kind of mag (i haven't seen a +h2k review in any mag, f.e.). also very nice stylish outfit and execution. | User Comment Submitted by Nightlord on 24 April 2005
very good idea and very good mag. i also planned to start a personal "gameoverview of demoscene" mag. but you guys did it first:) I will still release mine in the coming days too...
It took me a while to recognize capital T from 7 by the way :)
and broken could not possibly have been revieved any more interesting than suggesting lyrics. I laughed so hard that i nearly fell of the chair.
If this mag does not inspire people to do demos i do not know what will... | User Comment Submitted by Deev on 24 April 2005
Nice magazine with good reviews and no pointless filler articles. Love the interface, with the only downside being that I agree with others who said the font doesn't read so well. | User Comment Submitted by Ninja on 23 April 2005
The outfit is nice, indeed, maybe a bit hyped here. The texts are as good and enjoyable as in the mag where the inspiration came from. Damn good work, such a mag is BADLY needed, just what took you so long ;)) | User Comment Submitted by QuasaR on 23 April 2005
Totally agree with Hollowman. And keep up this nice mag! | User Comment Submitted by MagerValp on 23 April 2005
Great stuff, very stylish, but the font is a bit hard to read. More, and/or longer tunes would be nice as well, as the (excellent!) tune gets old eventually.
And yes Linus, I promise to release something reviewworthy at LCP...

I (heart) the menu system, in a deep and meaningful way. Actually, I love the whole mag. Well written, stylish, fun! ++good. | User Comment Submitted by G-Fellow on 23 April 2005
Very good mag and nice idea. But why dont mention this mag that in the Publication#55 is a interview with Drax!? Is that interview soo bad? Nobody mention that!! Damn, erm... ;) | User Comment Submitted by hollowman on 22 April 2005
keep up the good work, but change the font | User Comment Submitted by Frantic on 22 April 2005
I liked it.. As it was the first issue it was kind of natural to include a first chapter being about the mag itself rather than about the issue the mag is supposed to be about, so to speak, but please strip that too from now on.. Slimmed and straightforward = good!
(And the points was not that it wouldn't be nice with articles other than demo reviews too.) | User Comment Submitted by TDJ on 22 April 2005
Nice idea & execution, thumbs up for the creators! | User Comment Submitted by blackdroid on 22 April 2005
well written articles, and all about demos, wich for me has been what the scene is about since '89 or so. A big plus for using a zardax tune, way underrated sidder :)
but the font is abit unreadable. | User Comment Submitted by Radiant on 22 April 2005
Over all a nice and much needed mag. A bit on the minimalistic side designwise, but that's not negative. It could do with some kind of delimiters between the reviews, as well as a more structured way of presenting what is being reviewed (i.e. some kind of table with the name of the release, date, credits etc.), but that's just a minor wish on my behalf. Looking forward to the next issue! | User Comment Submitted by Scout on 22 April 2005
I enjoyed reading this mag!
I hope you keep up this standard for the forthcoming issues. | User Comment Submitted by DJ Gruby on 22 April 2005
Great mag! Keep it going! | User Comment Submitted by Jazzcat on 22 April 2005
The scene needed this, like a breath of fresh air. A specialist magazine keeps the feeling going, especially in those quiet times between scene parties. This is a brave production, thumbs up! | User Comment Submitted by CyberBrain on 22 April 2005
Great! Like you say, a mag like this just had to be done. Cool you guys did it | User Comment Submitted by H.O on 22 April 2005
Love the mag; especially I enjoy the "odd" menu system which has the courage of not explaining how it works, but rather expecting the reader to get it. Too often you see menu systems which like every else, or where the user is expected to be too stupid to get it, but not here.
Looking forward to the next issue. | User Comment Submitted by Tch on 22 April 2005
Very nice mag.
It has been fun reading it. 8)
Keep it coming!!!!!!! |
