Founded by :
Snoopy & Tommy in March 1984
Dissolved in :
August 1987
Group Types :
Demo Group, Cracker Group
Base Country :
Germany
Trivia :
This group has been built by Snoopy and Tommy who were local to eachother in early 1984.
For some reasons, the group did not use any intros, but the members used their handles only when releasing wares, mainly done by Snoopy and Tommy. Even the intros were missing sometimes but their handles were written on the startpage of the game then. The rest of the members were only swapping and spreading the games.
Actually, they did not even know that they got famous somehow at that time and that their games got spreaded that much, as the complete deal was originally based by staying local and just for fun. There were no big contacts to Snoopy and Tommy, as they stood in the background for quite a while. Lateron, when bigger groups like Yeti Factories, Hotline and some others got in touch with them, the group splitt and Snoopy and Tommy did eachothers own way. Tommy went Amiga after a while and Snoopy stood on the C64.

There were two "The Metro Boys", one in Germany and one in Turkey. See The Metro Boys for reference. |
