Actually it's not my first tune, I've done several others that I need to link to on this site somehow. They're in the HVSC collection anyway. I managed to join the scene after contacting a great guy in the scene who liked my stuff.

Very nice first tune! Congrats on your ATL membership! How did you end up joining the c64 scene suddenly?

Thanks for all the comments guys! Taken on board. This was was my first entry as a newbie here. I wrote it up in a couple of mornings while my daughter was at school, just sticking with the original bass, arps and percussion from Stinsen, but in hindsight I should have extended it a lot more as it's a bit too short and spent some more time on the sounds. In fact I probably will work a bit more on it while it's still a bit fresh. Cheers!

Well, I am a fan of of heavy vibrato usage so this really works for me (except on a few notes maybe hehe). I actually find underuse more annoying. :D Also, the melodies are really nice.

Not bad, but the lead instrument doesn't do it for me. Also the melody in the second part feels a little uninspired.

I miss a bit more alterations done to the sound of original background but lead part fits really well and has a few cool moments! I was initially a bit afraid of Future Composer lead but it turned out really sweet ;)
