if we consider eric's quite some kiddo in our 50 +/- something yrs old farts scene, I find he hit retro quite well soundwise, melody might be a little too hectic, however, for early 80s

I'm kinda surprised as you happened to sound more oldskool than that before. I believe 2x multispeed wasn't quite a standard at that time ;)

Quite fascinating. Somehow this reminds me of some of Aphex Twin's tunes. That was in the 90s though, so you're way ahead of your time :)

Not sure if this would count as authentic, since I kinda tried to replicate actual 1983 music. The Journey fanboyism is pretty obvious here lol.
