This picture is very "speccy" -- reminds me of many great hires speccy gfx I've seen. Made my day.
C-64 sceners who claim liking this pic should watch speccy scene gfx for more gems like this. \;]>

I am still not sure I prefer this to:

The Boat

After all something has been added but also removed in this version. It surprises me so few have even barely touched the subject...

Nice to see some new art from WEC a graphician I have always liked since I saw his graphics for the last outfit of the tribune.

Ta for the comments about the intro (and shaddap Motion! =-) - unfortunately, WEC released the file slightly before i'd called the code "finished", i've just upped a replacement that removes a minor cosmetic bug... there were 109 downloads before i did that if anyone was counting! =-)

A really nice and interesting picture - enjoyable to look at. Hi-res is cool in the right hands. I just want to know why TMR doesn't tell me when he's worked on something new through the Cosine memberslist! Bah!

This makes me feel wonderful feelings. Great, technically, smart sprite trick with the boat, and full of little details that make this extremely nice to just gaze into for minutes.

I am very happy with how you didn't try to hide the char grid in places. It's HiRes, it shouldn't be ashamed of itself!

10 from me.

This is one of the few pics i've seen where hires really comes to good use. Finally people seems to understand the niceness about this format. Perhaps it's time to release our editor, Henrik?

some elements is better than the "original" c64 version, but I also feel that something got lost in translation. nicely done technically nevertheless.

Hey! With all the wonderful gfx released lately, I was already wondering when one of my all time favourite graphicians, namely WEC, would also submit a new picture... AND HERE IT IS!! Thanks, Wile! And yes, the atmosphere is wonderful. You seem to get much out of usual formats...
thumbs up also for TMR!
