Veto does it again. Awesome composition, skill, style, technique. This was a tie on my votesheet together with Joe's excellent picture.

I really have to try Hires (seriously) some day...

Thanks to Deekay and Crest I got the opportunity to see the results of at least one image (out of three) in NUFLI, I've made
(they were however made in ordinary multicolor interlace in the beginning of the year till shortly before the party).

What I think is clever about Veto and Archmage is the true spirit to the graphic mode (I do prefer Veto's approach),
not trying to dither it as one would've done in let's say multicolor.

thanks for all comments and commendation. i really appreciate that. was doubtful to finish it in time because i was stuck in a huge project at work for months and the pic was progressing damn slowly.

besides i still cannot believe that this has beaten archmage's terrific OBEY THE MACHINE. thank you so much for your votes.

really really nice "painting" style! it's quite hard to believe that it is hi-res. really nice work, though the subject could be a little bit interesting. but, great work anyways. keep it coming.

Not my favourite in the compo (though this is one of the strongest gfx compos for ages!), but really nice all the same. Excellent use of hires and as always the style is near unique.

You do hi-res with a very painterly style, great work! Refreshing change around here. And it seems to be an original composition (if not non-objective). Now do something abstract and break my heart! :-D
