Peacemaker: Indeed. Sort of "public knowledge" though as the very topic was also discussed on some boards back then :)

this game is not fixed 100% by pudwerx. he removed the colorram scrolling in the "scrolling intro" on ntsc. therefore the gfx looks very ugly.

Oh my, sorry folks, I was wrong. The final level let's you enter the level exit when star quota reaches 25. In other words, this version can be completed.

However it does suffer from a lot of bugs as do all the cracks of the original original, most important one being the lives left substraction bug which is not present in the premium edition.

Guys, phewwww, can't really remember if there was patch availabe to be honest. I had leeched this version probably from The Forum.
What I still remember though was that this was Jason's "comeback fix". He had previously stopped, got active again for the project Avantgarde, put Forum online again and released this long awaited though/impossible NTSC fix.

The bug-fix was spread on the boards at the time, either the same day or the day after the release.

Moloch: do you have the AVT patch or know when and where was it released so we can search for it ? :)

Is the original bugged like that too?

Ah, guessing this version doesn't include the bug fix AVT put out then.

Final stage ("Happy Rockland") cannot be completed, the 'gate' in which you're supposed to jump into when star quota has been filled doesn't open.

I guess this is the 100% version? The original AVT release had an issue with level 5 and a fix was released.
