The Phantom: Thank you for the kind things you had to say about my first release. Something I should have explained in the scroll text is that the logo that I drew for this intro was based on a piece of ASCII art drawn for my group in 1990 by Silencer of the Amiga music group Crusaders, who were based in Norway. He was the Sysop for their only US HQ BBS, called "This End Up". His ASCII logo for KrionyX, adorned our members only section on This End Up.

Another comment about this intro. The character set I drew for this intro was originally one I made by sitting down with a piece of graph paper and plotting each pixel with a pencil. Then I added out the bytes for each line and wrote code that plotted the charset into ram. I did however, get lazy after the alphabetic characters, and before the intro was released I filled in the rest of the set with numbers and punctuation from another character set. Since I don't remember who did those original characters, I did not post credits for the set, as I don't want to leave out the author of the numbers and punctuation.

This isn't a bad release at all. Nice old school feel to it, just the way I like it.

I hope to see more work by you in the future DP, you have great potential in making some cool demos.

Thanks...but this demo would not have been possible without the great ML demo coding tutorial by Puterman on the c64 codebase Wiki. Also, his many articles in Attitude, Vandalism News, and other cool zines. Richard Bayliss' asm tutorial really helped me on a few concepts too.

I have a lot of routines written for my 2nd demo, which I intend to be a multipart, but life has just pulled me in so many directions, I don't know when I will get to it. I'm sure I will though, since coding ML on the c64 is such a fun and rewarding mental experience.

*update* I am working hard on the above mentioned 2nd demo. I plan on a spring or mid summer release at the latest. I have concepts and design/effect ideas for other demos for this year as well. Look out for more!

This demo is far cooler than my first efforts at making an intro for Terasoft's Invincible Pirates. That intro was coded in basic, with a 3 sprite logo. Unfortunately the intro is probably lost forever as only Professor Entropy and myself had possession of it.
Darth Plagueis did a fine job on a first demo.

The screenshots were done in Vice 1.22 for Windows (though I also use Vice 1.20 for linux as well). The logo was done with Logo Painter 3+ by Polonus/Quartet.

I'm working on getting my C64 going so I can start coding on the real hardware. Thanks again, and it's great to be back into the C64 again....I plan on many more releases in the future.
