@Iron Cock: I expected especially you to understand my statement!
@Jazzcat: You make us all curious: WHERE is that DAMN joke?

@Ian Coog: There was no need for a swinger in the original because our name isn't that long. ;)

Ugliness is a matter of taste. I am no graphician, you know? ;) CONS could surely have done better if he had wanted to.

Sixx: It is a little mock up of an old intro. No big deal for the majority of the public but a funny little thing for us internally. Cheers.

I'm not hating, i just don't get the joke? Could you please elaborate?

Ok, my 2 cents, again: this is a joke stuff. I'm getting sad for all this hate propaganda since this is NOT my spirit.

This intro had minor glitches that i didn't noticed while coding, because i used a small scrolltext. anyway, i fixed them.

the sidescrolling logo is an improvement over the laxity intro.

Danzig: haha! cheers. Well, it is meant as no real improvement of the original. Just a copy only. Good to see you're still around.

I'm always in for a good laugh.. But there is no... Even the statements about "our logo is better than the original" are utter bullshyte. the intro is ugly!
Not a single sign of improvement compared to the original one... "And it works on NTSC 100%" Shut up, even my daughter can fix such an intro :P

Sometimes you don't see bugs in your own work which others see immediately. ;)

I was about to post the exact same thing as Zyron; I don't get it. Butt ugly in 99 and still looks like shit, what's the purpose? A mocktro? Mmmmmkey..

For some it's fun to release buggy stuff, for others it's not.
The bugs are visible on Emulator and real hardware.

This is not heavily inspired, it's a clone of your intro that i was asked to code. In fact in the AKA field we wrote "Laxity Intro #37 +".

This is a JOKE intro.

Of course i coded it from scratch after just watching yours, so there are some little differences in timing and fading, but since this is for amusement purpose i think that we did the trick :)

Peace!

Heavily inspired by Laxity Intro #37 (OldsCool).
Imitation is the greatest sign of admiration. ;)

A little stumble in the logoswinger when going to the left (on hardware) and timing does not fit to the music as exactly as it does in the original. I gotta know because the original was made by me. ;)

Ok guys, I'll let this go :) (but I get a screen jump just after 2:40, using the latest Vice 2.3.22)

no issues also on real hw, neither on vice 2.3.21 / macvice 2.2, everything seems ok :) Tested on PAL and NTSC.
thanx for watching anyway!

i don't see any bugs in VICE 2.3.21, ran in x64sc in warp mode for some minutes then unwarped... nothing particular seen.
you ppl really need to get latest build and stop worrying about official vice 2.3 bugs, it was more than 1 year ago and LOTS of stuff has been nailed since then ;)

Ksubi: works fine in Vice 2.2 X86 here. Maybe the Vice X64 versions have some issues with the code. One for the WinVICE team to look at anyway. (EDIT: also tested now in Vice 2.3 X86 and works fine also)

Jazzcat: and again, watch the damn thing in Vice 2.2 then, still bugs! :)
User Comment
Submitted by Jazzcat on 7 October 2012
Ksubi: I refuse to use Vice 2.3 because of the amount of bugs it has had and the new ones that continue to be found. Real HW or 2.2 for me. :D

Jazzcat: You may wish to watch the intro in Vice 2.2 then.
