the linked pd.d64 is the 14-4-2006 version, not anymore the 1-1-2005 version. The 2005 versions I have (03-2005 to 11-2005, now that I checked better the 1st prv i have is dated 6-3-2005, I don't think there was actually a 1-1-2005 public release) anyway don't feature the A-Man tunes so I've removed the credit here. Gfx credits should be edited aswell, TCH and TMR afair only made gfx later for the intro griphon and 2nd table respectively, correct me if I'm wrong.
If anyone has the original preview please replace the file, the 2006 release already has its own entry: Pinball Dreams C64 Preview | User Comment Submitted by DeeKay on 5 March 2007
WEC: Well, the Animation itself is fine, but the antialiasing in the individual frames was improved! ;-)
Check out the flippers, they're just white with a 1-pixel border of light green and then green! That's not how a gfxian would do it!
They should look less pixely now... | User Comment Submitted by Radiant on 29 March 2006
Groepaz: Then again, not everyone has balls of chrome. | User Comment Submitted by chatGPZ on 29 March 2006
respect for donating one of your balls to this project, not everyone would do that. | User Comment Submitted by T.M.R on 29 March 2006
Isn't it time the credits were updated a little...? =-) | User Comment Submitted by DeeKay on 29 March 2006
Wile: Hehe, that's my ball! ;-) When Werner told me he has three hires-sprites for the ball i immediately just HAD to make him a new one that looked like proper chrome and not like a round stone (he converted the original Amiga Ball from what he told me)
Now he just needs to add my improved flippers! ;-)
..and how dare you call David's Midnight Magic and Mechanicus "miserable"? >:-) | User Comment Submitted by WVL on 21 January 2006 User Comment Submitted by JackAsser on 29 December 2005
@wc: The above screen shot was an early mock-up. The display board in the game is vic-technically complete, but content-wise it's not at all ready. The garbage is simply lack of content.
About that "small" 1k... we're currently shaving BYTEs... not kilobytes. =) What I'm trying to say is that the nightmare table will just barly fit. No way there will fit a 1K sample aswell, unless WVL get another strike of geniousiality. | User Comment Submitted by Tch on 29 December 2005
Hahaha Wile,
it might look like Amiga, and this game is wonderful!!,but the memory is still C64.. ;) | User Comment Submitted by SIDWAVE on 16 March 2005
Great piece of work here!
I read through some of the code, and I know there's a lot more to it, than just moving a sprite around :-)
