wow, much thanks for all the comments! (and thanks for the csdb account, admins!).. the few lines of partially legible text were sort of an easter egg, an occasional random occurrence amongst unknown language readouts.. raistlin - yep, mangled petscii numerals. a lazy way of making alien-ish looking glyphs =) and you're right, the colours were semi accidental. i was trying to figure out how to properly use multicolour bitmap, but stopped halfway because it looked cool..

i wasn't sure if this could be really classed as a demo because it's all random gen, and lightly interactive (joystick in port 2 controls some stuff)..but i guess definitions aren't strictly strict.. anyway, cheers!

Really cool! Strange and unique.

I was intrigued about what was happening with the colours - but note that if multicolour mode is forced off, the dots move around much more smoothly - so of course the colours were "accidental" in a sense. Works well, anyway :-)

In hires mode it's also clearer that most of the "text" seems to be weirdly shifted characters - you can often make out numbers in them, oddly.

Anyway, great bit of experimenting here! It works really well!

Remind me of Moondust or something.
Sound FX is nice, but I miss some mad cosmic action from linus, jammer or psycho. ;-) I can't read anything so far, will give it another try later. Keep'm comin'.

@Digger: That's not a bug, that's a feature. :) I told him the same, but as he wrote me, I think you just have to watch it long enough to catch some more words.

Out of this world! It even looks like text plotting, although a bit tough to read.
