I'm listening these entries with HardSID, and this tune sounds great on 8580. On 6581s (three different chips) the kick of the bass drum is missing completely :O

@Toggle.. I made it on a C64 with a 8580 sid chip connected to my hi-fi gear.
I just noticed that my laptop almost didnt procude any bass too. Play it on some real hi-fi equipment and you should hear it loud and clear. |

One thing: Playing this with with Sidplay kills the bass when using the new SID. Switching to the old one the bass seems alright though. |

The off-key notes (bass & arpeggio) at the end of the song is intentional. It gives a falling/dizzy effect, doesn't it ? |

| Very nice melody and chords. There is something compelling about it. I like the subtle echo in the first section. Although it sounds good on both versions I prefer 8580 version (at least in Sidplay). |
